About me

Mypcplace is operated by me as a sole trader.the business is VAT registered.Registration number is below.As a business seller on ebay i have compllied with ebays new rulling on disclosing the business location and contact info.The majority of items I sell on eBay are inkjet printers.The printers are ex-demo,customer returns and stock clearance.All printers are processed to identify which are suitable for resale on eBay.The suitable ones are then quality tested to make sure they are in full working condition and cleaned and put on eBay.While some look like new printers some may have slight blemishes or minor scratch marks.Epson & canon printers I sell have the ink cartridges left in after testing.Some go out with nearly full carts,some with less in.HP and Lexmark printers I sell nearly always go out with no cartridges in them. Most printers go out with a power cable,istallation disc,(may be a copy disc).manuals are sent out as and when I have them.Most new breed of printers incorperate a manual on the disc.Manufacturers boxes are used if they are suitable,otherwise printers are sent out in my double walled boxes with air cushion packing.I invested in an air cushion packing machine as i have found that the air cushions give added protection to your printer during transportation.Bio degradable packing void fill may be enviromentally friendly but it is still messy when you open the box.Most printers are listed on an open auction basis.Some are put on buy it now .Printers that are capable of printing direct on to cds usually come to me minus the cdtray.If any of my ads does not say it includes a cdtray, well there is not one.Usb cables are not supplied with my printers.If you actually need one ask me as I usually have some spare.I offer a 30 day guarantee with all my printers.Any printers that have to be sent back under the guarantee will be at your expense.Postage is a service and is non refundable.Any buyer who decides that they want to send an item back during the guarantee period for a refund that is not fault related will be refunded what they paid minus a restocking fee of 20% of the final bid price.All items must be included that was sent out originally.Any missing items will be charged at source.If for any reason when you first get your item you have a slight problem please email me and iam normally on hand to try and resolve any issues.99% of problems are solved with my input.I only sell to uk based ebayers with a confirmed uk address with ebay.I will not send any item to an address outside the uk.Please do not ask for price of delivery to an address outside the uk.I will not answer it.Iam vat registered.Registration number.GB 876 5015 07.Business address is.Unit 2 old station house,station road,burton latimer.nn15 5nt.Office tel no.01536724274.Business hours are 10 am-5pm.monday to friday.Outside this time frame use the ebay messaging service.Please be aware that this phone is somtimes not manned on a tuesday and wednesday.If you do not get an answer please then use the ebay messaging service. My preferred payment method is paypal.Paypal payment to reach me within 24 hours of item ending.(this allows me to send your item out same day or next working day).As with immediate effect (12/03/08) i will not accept any cheques for payment of my items i sell on ebay.I will also not accept echeques paid via paypal as they take on average 10-14 days to clear into my paypal account.In conclusion i will now only accept paypal and postal orders and bank transfer as a form of payment.(bank transfer details given on request after auction.)

Delivery/tracking

Items are sent out by parcel force on a 48 hour delivery once payment has cleared.I aim to dispatch next working day after cleared funds but sometimes this is not possible.For the scottish highlands and islands plus n,ireland,isle of scilly,isle of man with these postcodes please add £4 to the total.BT,IM,TR,IV,HS,KA,KW,ZA.I do not ship to jersey and guernsey as parcel force class this as international. There are no refunds on postage whatsover. In the unlikely event of an item being sent back i will not refund postage.This is a service and is non refundable.If you dont agree,please do not bid.Likewise i do not allow local pick ups of single items.The only pick ups i will allow are of bulk items i sell. So please do not ask.
Buyers who pay for their item by paypal will automatically have the tracking number sent to the email address they use for paypal.Please check this email address before you email me to say you have not received the details.also please check your junk mail before emailing me.buyers who pay by postal order or bank transfer will only be sent the tracking details on request.

We warrantee and represent that the goods are as described in the above listing. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Customers should satisfy themselves that any item choice made is suitable for their intended purpose or use. We pride ourselves on our customer service. In the rare event that you have a problem with your item please contact us by email first and we'll be happy to help.initial teething problems if they occur can usually be solved by me in minutes either by email or a quick phone call.If you do not agree with any of my terms please refrain from bidding.

Returns

Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded within my specified guarantee period.(30 days) however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customers responsibility to pay for and ship the item back to me.this is non refundable. You must obtain an RMA number from me before an item is returned.I must authorize its return.Please be aware that all serial numbers are recorded and printers are discreetly marked to avoid any attempt of fraud.Any attempt of fraud will be reported to ebay.
