Jim Woodring is indisputably one of the masters of modern underground comic art. By turns surreal, unnerving and hilarious, Woodring’s style is as unique as they come, owing little to anyone or anything outside of his own fevered and ultra-vivid imagination. Frank is Woodring’s most famous creation - and Manhog his most celebrated nemesis.

Purchased directly from the artist in March 2000. I was particularly after a piece which featured both Frank and Manhog. Mr Woodring went one better and offered me this - high sacrificial drama featuring Frank, Manhog and Pupshaw, too!

This major Woodring piece has been professionally framed and can be shipped with the (plain black) frame included or with the mount only. Please specify your preference should you be the winner.
