" this was the first in a new series . J.D. Polson is no ordinary armadillo. Born and bred in downtown Dilloville, Texas, he has an ambition to go places and win new friends. One day he sets out to dig for fame and fortune, and tunnels his way to New York. There his adventures begin with the chance discovery of a mint-condition 1894 Liberty Head Dime..." The story is told through colour cartoons, with illustrations by Roger Wade Walker. Now quite rare and a collectors item for any Michael Bond collector.
