Satin cord edge, also known as rattail edge, is created by sewing a "rattail" satin cord to the veil edge. The cord is more bold than pencil edge and sewn on both sides of veil edge as compared to ribbon edge, which has a ribbon sewn on only one side of veil edge. It definitely compliments any style wedding gown of your choice.
