Labradorite is such a wonderful stone - when it catches the light you can see flashes of violet, turquoise & green........... This bracelet features Labradorite beads in a mainly Olive Green colour and Swarovski Crystals which are also iridescent ........The other beads are copper plated brass.
A lovely all year round colour - soft and muted but still striking......
Coming from Labrador in Canada there is a super Eskimo legend. It is said that the Northern Lights were once imprisoned in the rocks along the coast of labrador, and then a wandering Eskimo warrior found them and freed most of the lights with a mighty blow of his spear. Some of the lights were still trapped within the stone however, and thus we have today the beautiful mineral known as labradorite. Also.... Labradorite is said to provide quick relief from anxiety, hopelessness and depression, replacing them with enthusiasm, self-confidence and inspiration. It is also so beautiful - it does me the power of good just looking at it.. THE STANDARD SIZED BRACELET MEASURES 18 CM (JUST OVER 7") SO IT WILL FIT WRISTS MEASURING 5.5" - 6" LOOSELY AND WRISTS MEASURING 6.5" - 7" MORE TIGHTLY. IF YOU A DIFFERENT/PARTICULAR SIZE JUST LET ME KNOW YOUR WRIST MEASUREMENT AND I WILL ENSURE A CUSTOM FIT - NO EXTRA CHARGE. Each oval bead is about 3/4" wide (approx 2cm) so the bracelet is medium chunky.
The other beads are copper plated - but lovely and they work with the Swarovski Crystals to highlight the colour of the stone:
