Irish dancing dress - purple with white doves

Beautiful Irish dancing dress. Outer is deep purple velvet with a white embroidered dove design and Celtic patterns in pink, white, gold and turquoise. Has jewels on the dress giving it a sparkly appearance when dancing! Has designs on front body, center, left and right skirt panels, and both sleeves. Celtic pattern continues around the back of the dress. Has a white embroidered collar. Inside of the skirt is lined with white satin like material.

Comes with a matching purple sash, with a white dove and more Celtic embroidery, outlined in same white satin type material.

Also comes with 2x ornate brooches with which to attach the sash, brooches are golden colour with blue jewels. Dress also comes with its own blue hanger covered in soft material to which the brooches are attached.

This is dress is absolutely beautiful, it obviously took a long time to make, and it can be seen from the attention to detail and care which as been put into it. The dress was bought about 10 years ago now, but to my horror(!) my daughter stopped wanting to do Irish dancing and the dress has been hung up in my wardrobe ever since! The result is that this dress has probably been worn only twice, which was pretty sad as it cost around £270 to buy new!! It seems like such a shame that this dress isn't going to be used again so I thought I'd put in on here!! It is in good condition, but does have a few pin holes in the back caused by pinning the sash onto the dress wit the brooches (these are covered with the sash when worn and can not be seen!)

I'm not sure of the age range size of the dress, my daughter was around 12 -13 around this period of time. However, I have measured the dress..........
