Here you will find a small but exquisite selection of stringed instruments.
Each is built, according to my specifications, by a traditional European manufacturer
who has over 50 years of experience creating musical instruments.
All instruments are unique in their design and craftsmanship
and are exclusively available from me.
Some accessories, like the Piezo-Pickups for the mandolins,
have been developed exclusively for Celtic Star.
If your purchasing decision is ruled by your heart, you will be rewarded with

"Rover´s Black"
Truly unique - nothing but black!

This eye catching bouzouki features a solid spruce top finished in high-gloss.
Body and neck are made from European maple.
All the woods normally chosen for Violin making!

The neck features an integrated adjustable truss rod. The fingerboard is made from rosewood.
The scale length measures 660 mm (26 inches) with 22 frets.
The bridge is made from masaranduba with an ebony bridge-inlay and features an intergrated Piezo-Pickup, which has been
developed especially for these instruments (but meanwhile several times copied).

Included is a set of high-class Bronze Wound original CELTIC-STAR STRINGS
- specially made by my specifications -
and a
Hardcase!

I allways do the adjustment of trussrod and bridge for a perfect action. Don´t trust in copies!

The additional 3-band EQ-system is purchased from the supplier who build OEM for many great guitar company!
Gold plated and smooth working machineheads from Yamaha supplier!
Custom made tailpiece made from massive(!) brass with a wider string spacing for an excellent sustain ...
...and against slipping strings!!
The instrument is manufactured completely from solid wood. Customary tuning is done in G-D-A-E also G-D-A-D
(G- and D-strings are octaved)
The Celtic-Star Bouz is an impressive instrument and stands with pride beside instruments several times more expensive!!
Celtic-Star meanwhile played by many professionals!

Developing these instruments was a joyful experience and I hope that you may
feel a bit of that joy while playing them.

My main goal was to create something with a soul; something one can bond to.
I believe that this is of the utmost importance, if one would approach music on a higher level,
beyond the technical or mathematical.

My prices are extremely low. I import and sell directly from the manufacturer,
with whom I have a long and friendly relationship.
The resulting savings are passed on to you.
There is no magic involved, merely solid business relationships and an eye (and an ear) for quality musical instruments.
