`Introducing Model Marine Steam`, by John Cundell and Jim King; published  by Argus Books, 19, a 8.5 x 6 inch hardback book of 112 pages, illustrated with drawings and photographs, covering the various types of engines, boilers, methods of firing and ancillary equipment required for successful model steamboat operation, from simple oscillators in small models to the sophosticated plant in functional competition boats.. Although the book is a withdrawn library copy, it is complete, in good clean condition with no  inscriptions, or page markings. Front fly leaf apparently removed when the book was withdrawn from the library.

Contents include;Steam for power; Simple steam plants; Slide valve engines; Piston and other valves; Other engine developments; Firetube boilers; Watertube boilers; Boiler construction; Firing and fuels; Auxiliaries; Installation and maintenance; experimental and radio control; and appendices. 

A very infomative book for anyone interested in the operation of model boats by steam power.
