It is ideal if you wish to easily replace an existing damaged aerial antenna, or avoid, having a conventional exterior wing or roof-mounted aerial, damaged, stolen or vandalised. It is also ideal for Classic Cars, Cabriolet and Convertible models, Fibre Glass bodied or Kit Cars, Off Road cars, De-chromed cars and any vehicle which has limited mounting possibilities for a conventional aerial. It is also a good alternative for cars where the factory fitted aerial is built into the rear screen, or heated rear window element, and where either the screen elements have become damaged or aerial amplifier module is inoperative.

It has separate AM and FM amplifier for optimum performance, (Not suitable for DAB reception).  The module unit measures just 100 mm long x 23 mm wide x 20mm high. The unit has a 2.60 metre (102 inches) cable for connection to your radio with a conventional radio coax male plug and requires a 12 volt connection, which should be ignition controlled, or connected via your radio output. 

The aerial comes complete with instructions, a pre-cut adhesive pad to bond to the mounting surface, and an alcohol pad to clean the mounting surface. Also included are adhesive cable clips to help attach and route the coax cable, or the cable can be hidden behind or between the windscreen rubber moulding and or head-lining or interior trim.

The aerial should be an easy-fit for any reasonably competent DIY person. Access to the rear of the radio, or removal of the radio will be required, and a removal tool or key may be required dependent upon the make and type of radio fitted.
