Interesting ancient pottery item with good provenance

An interesting ancient pottery item but we've found it impossible to classify, hence why its ended up here. Visually its similar to Cycladic or Minoan pottery kernos vessels but the clay is more likely to be Roman in date. One could call it a quadruple-wick oil lamp except that the base is hollow. Hopefully someone will know what it is! It is intact apart from a small hole visible below the spouts and some minor chips; we guarantee that this is a genuine ancient item.
