A solid silver oval Indian Box with lid. The lid shows the image of a tiger having caught a prey and is surrounded by a foliage edge. The sides of the box are decorated with 16 small birds amongst foliage.
Condition: Very good and no apparent damages. Please note the lid is loose( it has become detached from the exixting small hinge)
Size(overall): l x w x h : 11.2 x 8.2 x 5.8 cm ; weight is 200 gram.
Age : 19th Century.
Provenance: From my private collection; Found in Delhi in the 1960'ties.
