Emerging from the early eighties "Batcave" scene in London, Flesh For Lulu were as much Rock n Roll as they were Goth. A standout and extremely heady melting pot of glam, trash, and leather, the band attracted the attention of Polydor who quickly released their debut single Restless. Two more singles followed before they released their first album. The band eventually moved back in the indie arena and went from strength to strength, eventually finding a new home with Beggars Banquet, a label arguably far more suitable. They later had releases with Capitol and RCA in the States.

Recorded live in May 1985 at the Camden Palace Theatre in London, this is a snapshot of the band at their most controversial and possibly best. Pure Rock n Roll laced with heavy doses of attitude and style, they are provocative and entertaining. Seeing this DVD will make many question exactly why the band didn't go on to bigger things. But what the hell-it's great that Flesh For Lulu's live performance was recorded for posterity and what a treat it is.
