Imperial Wessel (Ludwig Wessel) Bonn German teapot .

According to the mark, this has been produced around 1900.

The teapot is quite large, about 6" tall and 8" from spout to handle. The rims are golden, and there is a lot of sprayed gold on it. Decorated with floral ornament.

The condition is good for its age. The lid is covered with fine crazing,  much less crazing on the body and no chips or cracks.

Quite a lot of crazing inside, as seen on the separate photo above, this is reflected in lower price. 

 Externally this teapot is in excellent condition and looks perfect.

This is quite a rare item, especially in such condition.

Brown Wessel mark with the words 1755 Imperial Bonn Germany.
