Note: Although not normally used nor required, the extra PTT 'may' be useful on rare occassions for those models shown in red.
The CAT and PTT can be used together or independently depending on your software.
Ham Radio Deluxe and many other programs inc MixW support this interface.
Like the original Icom CT17 this interface is suitable for all CI-V enabled Icoms but this interface has been specially designed with an extra 8 pin acc plug to provide an extra PTT function to fit the following radios;

This interface can also be used on ANY Icom with the 8 pin Acc socket that also supports PTT via the CAT system. This will provide a second method of obtaining PTT.

Ham Radio Deluxe (of course), MixW, N1MM, TRX Manager, Logger32 and ALL other popular CAT software that we are aware of.
