For sale 1 Ibanez BTB550MP NTF (Natural Flat) Electric Bass Guitar Additional pictures:     As with the Ashdown amp I have for sale, I bought this with the intention of playing bass with others. That's not happened and the guitar has been used occasionally for the past two years (bought new Aug 2007). I absolutely love the style and finish of this guitar, the main body is mahogany sandwiched between maple front and back. It sounds awesome because of this setup. The neck is maple/walnut. The finish all round is a soft satin so that's why the picture is close up. There isn't a mark on this anywhere because it has been kept in the Gator Deluxe hardshell case that is included in the auction. Frets are medium sized and the fingerboard has abalone dot inlays. MR-2 bridge (19mm string spacing) Ibanez DFR-N4 neck pickup. Ibanez DFR-B4 bridge pickup. Vari-Mid IIIBII 3-band eq. This is an active bass guitar (requires 2*PP£ type 9v batteries) . It came with some pretty hefty elixirs that were completely wrong for the guitar so I put on a set of Daddario EXP170 which are lighter, sound nicer (I love the EXP stuff :) ) and most of all they don't buzz on the frets all the time like the Elixir's did. I almost want to keep it because I like the look and feel so much but its better off going to a home where it'll actually get used and I can make space for more toys :) If you want to check the guitar out before bidding, please contact me otherwise sales are final. I will not close the auction until either a deposit of £20 or the full amount has been received as a precaution against time wasters. Please contact me first to make arrangements before sending payment. As this comes with a hard case it may be possible to sort out a courier, but chances are they won't insure it properly. If you want to arrange anything like that you can do so at your own cost and risk. Local collection is preferred. I will consider dropping the guitar off, though we would have to agree on a reasonable fuel fee that would have to be paid by PayPal in advance. |
