A 19TH CENTURY ELM AND ASH BENTWOOD BOAT BUILDER CHAIR, IRISH. CIRCA 1830 IT STILL SHOWS TRACES OF THE ORIGINAL OLIVE GREEN PAINT ALSO THE DARK BROWN PAINT.

THIS IS A VERY RARE CHAIR I HAVE ONLY FOUND ONE THAT HAS SOLD IN THE LAST 20 YEARS.

THIS CHAIR IS MADE WITH SUCH SKILL IT IS ALSO ICONIC.

PROVANCE

Apparently it was said to be made by a boat builder on the southern shores
of Loch Neagh and was first recorded in a private collection in County
Monahan about 20 years ago
