Celtic musician Zan McLeod presents a traditional instrument from the Emerald Isle in LEARN TO PLAY THE IRISH BOUZOUKI. The bouzouki is a stringed instrument similar to the mandolin, and is usually played with a flatpick. McLeod teaches the viewer the basics of the bouzouki, explaining how to properly tune it and play basic scales and chords. Once the basic techniques are shown, McLeod continues by displaying rhythm techniques. Finally, accompanied by accordionist Billy McComisky, McLeod demonstrates how the bouzouki is used in traditional Irish songs.
