Lace: Shaping Your Garment
This issue of Interweave Knits includes over a dozen women’s fall sweaters, some with simple styling, others with intricate cable and lace patterns, a Fair Isle pullover, a cable & lace hoodie, a skirt with a zigzag hemline, a lovely lace shawl, a felted Navajo satchel, an Aran afghan, father-and-son socks, a tailored jacket, and a little girl’s colorwork pullover. All designs are pictured below together with the designer’s name and design details.
This issue provide lots of lace instruction: The features article “Beyond the Basics: Lace–Shaping Your Garment,” by Eunny Jang provides a very helpful treatment of the subject. Another article, “Lace Primer Two: Casting On and Binding Off,” also by Eunny Jang, discussed several methods of casting on and binding off that are flexible enough to accommodate the stretch that happens during blocking in lace knitting.
Excellent condition, no markings, torn or missing pages.

If you are interested in bidding on other items, payment may be delayed until you are finished bidding so that shipping can be combined. If you do not have a Paypal account, please feel free to contact me to discuss payment. Payment is appreciated within 30 days or by the end of the month, if more time is needed, please contact me.
Please note that when paying by eCheck, PayPal holds funds for approximately 4 business days for U.S. customers and 7-10 business days for international. Payment is not considered received and items are not shipped until payment has cleared.
I make every effort to describe items as accurately as possible and provide as many pictures of the item(s) as possible. I check each item prior to listing so that I can provide an accurate description of its condition and any defects. I do not list incomplete pattern books and will include photocopies of any missing pages with the publication (which will be mentioned in the auction description). However, I am not perfect and can overlook a defect, so please bring any problems to my attention so that an acceptable solution can be worked out. You can buy with confidence that I stand behind my auctions to guarantee your satisfaction.
Please contact me with ANY questions you may have prior to purchasing or bidding on an item. I respond to all inquiries within 24 hours and will gladly answer any questions/provide any details I can. |

Items are almost always shipped the same day payment is received, or the next business day if paid on a weekend or holiday or after business hours on a weekday. I deliver packages to the post office for shipment on a daily basis (including Saturdays until 1:30 p.m.).
Insurance is offered as an optional add-on for all domestic (U.S.) shipments. Ebay will soon remove the ability of a seller to offer postal insurance as an option to be paid by the buyer, although the seller may include insurance on their own. My policy will be to include insurance on combined shipments with a minimum value of $50, plus free Media Mail shipping.
I combine items and will discount shipping when items are invoiced, paid and shipped as one transaction. For a single purchase, please use the shipping calculator button to find out what the total shipping charges will be. The shipping calculator is accurate for single purchases but not for multiple purchases. Please wait for an invoice. I use Paypal Shipping; shipping charges include Delivery Confirmation (not available with First Class International only).
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS please select your country in the 'Shipping and Handling' section below for rates.
I can ship items to most countries in a Flat Rate Priority Envelope for $12.30 ($10.40 to Canada and Mexico) (max. weight 4 lb.) or a Flat Rate Priority Box for $39.85 (max weight 20 lbs, $24.65 to Canada and Mexico.). A Flat Rate Priority Envelope will generally hold five standard size magazines. Some magazines are larger than the average modern magazine, which may limit the number of magazines that will fit in a Flat Rate Envelope. Hardback books also are likely to take up more space.
First Class International rates vary from country to country but are based on weight and are usually cheaper than Priority International if the shipping weight is less than 1 pound (450 g). According to the U.S. Post Office, the shipping time is the same – 8 to 10 business days. Since Priority Mail is not delivered faster, First Class International may be a better choice for a single magazine.
Insurance Terms: Insurance will be provided on any combined domestic (U.S.) shipment with a total value of $50.00 or more. |
