INSTANT NOTES IN BIOCHEMISTRY by Hames, Hooper. & Houghton
This is an excellent textbook for anyone studying biochemistry. It served me well during my biology degree.
It was printed in 1997 and in excellent condition. 374 pages in total
The book covers the following areas; chemical basis of life, cells, amino acids and proteins, enzymes, antibodies, membranes, nucleic acids, recombinant DNA technology, carbohydrate metabolism, lipid metabolism, respiration, nitrogen metabolism, metabolic coordination, and cell specialisation.
I think the book is good because it's very concise with summaries to help with revision. The diagrams are also very simple and easy to understand.
