This well illustrated book is a 32 page informative gazetteer of industrial archeology in Gloucestershire, contents include: Wind water & other power, Roads tollhouses milestones bridges, Waterways, Tramroads & rauilways, Extractive industries - Iron Coal Stone, Heavy industry - Iron & Steel, Light Industry - Textiles & other trades, Mainly Urban, Industrial Housing, Museums, double page map of Glos showing sites, also smaller maps of Forest of Dean and City of Gloucester.

Edited by Rev W Awdry (of Thomas the Tank Engine fame), published jointly by the GSIA and the Gloucestershire Community Council - 1973.  

Stiff card covered booklet, 32 pages plus cover, size approx 18cm x 25cm. Overall good condition, clean, contents good, corners good, staples spine tight. Minor edge nibble to front cover, lower right corner approx 4cm,scarcely noticeable. Overall very nice.

An excellent item for the local historian, family history researcher and collector.
