DEAD PAWN~NATIVE AMERICAN~STERLING SILVER & TURQUOISE CUFF BRACELET
We just got back from another pawn-hunting trip, and we found some really amazing pieces! This bracelet was created from sterling silver and features five oval turquoise stones in the center of the cuff. Each bright blue turquoise stone features black matrix and is set in a saw tooth bezel. In between each of the five stones there are silver raindrop beads. To the left and right of the stones are beautiful applied silver flowers, leaves, and raindrop beads. Judging by the style, we will venture a guess that this bracelet was crafted in around the 1970s, but we are not sure. Also, the bracelet appears to have been cleaned by a previous owner and the inside of the bracelet has a spot where it was tested for silver content (not by us, as we do not clean vintage or pawn jewelry nor do we test for silver content).
Crafted by the Navajo silversmith Mary E.Jackson the bracelet measures 5 3/8 of an inch with a gap of 1 3/16 of an inch, weighs 60 grams, and is 1 1/4 of an inch wide. The inside of the bracelet is stamped sterling and has Mary's hallmark (E). We invite you to please take a look at the pictures of this genuine Native American dead pawn find!
