You are looking at a licensed museum quality reproduction of the small flying reptile Pterodactylus kocki.  The original fossil came from the Middle Jurassic Period of the famous Solnhofen beds Eichstatt, Germany.  Certain fossils are just too costly and some are one-of-a-kind specimens that can only be viewed at museums.  This fossil reproduction is an exact copy, cast in resin directly from the actual fossil itself and can be found displayed in many museums around the world.  The replica reptile measures 165mm x 225mm.
