OUR EXPERIENCE

Between myself and my employees we have over 20 years experience in import & export. We have seen plenty of success stories and at the same time seen many things fail.

We often get people asking for products we either know will not work or there is just too little profit in it which would not make it feasible. I am a very direct person and I know this is something most importers prefer. If we know something’s not going to work nor has no profit in it, we will tell you straight. We find that most people often think of importing fancy/sexy products of high value such as Plasma screen TV’s. My response to people like this is why import something of such high value, which is going down in price all the time? Is one of the most competitive products to sell, and if your lucky, you may make 100 bucks per screen. It also requires a great deal of capital to buy a small amount of stock, when you can sell things like garden lights all day long and make a 50% mark up? In short, not only will we source and export to you, but we will stop you making obvious mistakes we have already made or seen. We are not here to do research for you, to offer you a great product on a plate (though we often do) but if you are new to importing and need a nudge in the right direction we will do so!

I would love to give some detailed explanations at this stage to enlighten people about what products are great to import. However, these are ‘trade secrets’ and not something I would want to broadcast to the world, as there have been plenty of people on eBay in the last 12 months ‘knocking off’ what we are offering when really they have no clue!

COMMUNICATION

As well as email and phone communication we run regular online support sessions for members over Skype. This way you can instant message, phone or teleconference with us. For those of you who don’t know what Skype is, it’s a way of talking over the Internet for free and works as good as a real phone. All you need is a headset or USB phone. The reason we like to use Skype is because what can sometimes take several emails to explain can be explained over the phone in seconds.

Although we have several Chinese employees, whom you may deal with from time to time, initially most of your communication will be via myself. I will provide you with all of my personal contact details so I am contactable at all times.

OUR GOAL FOR NEW MEMBERS

Ultimately we would like each of our members to be purchasing goods via the container load. However, we all have to start somewhere and here we are offering a solution for anyone to start importing. Even with limited capital we are able to get you importing using our monthly export service. We don’t promise people we can make them rich over night, importing is a slow process. Although we have a unique set up here and can offer major price advantages for people to start trading even with limited capital.

All we ask is for people to be as serious about building up their business as we are ours. If your purchasing anything less than £1000 per month from us, all we ask is instead of spending a few hundred quid of profit down the pub, you keep re-investing in buying stock as ultimately, we would like to see members bringing in their own container loads! Manufacturing and export from China is a trend which will not change for at least the next twenty years. We are in this for the long term and we hope that all of our members are as well.

The bottom line is, we are not a charity, we are in this for the money, and the more you order from us, the more we all make.

One of the single most important parts of the process of importing goods from China is Quality control. Truth be told and common knowledge to any experienced importer. The quality of goods from many Chinese factories is in many cases below standard. This is probably the single biggest problem of importing goods from China not the risk of not getting goods, but basically the risk of importing goods which don’t work / are the wrong power supply / such poor quality thy are not fit for porous / and generally not what you ordered! Many errors occur due to communication issues or making assumptions when ordering goods.

Quality control is a vast area and obviously varies for different types of product. At EASY IMEX we quality control all goods before they are exported. We have different levels of quality control that we implement using a network of engineers and specialist Chinese companies. This is an essential part of the import process if you want to get it right, and is something that we manage on your behalf with the factories.

When you place an order with EASY IMEX you will automatically be covered against loss or damage during transit. As your goods are travelling from China half way across the world there are many things that can occur which result in goods being damaged. We try and limit these problems as much as possible by making sure the goods and containers are packed correctly in the first place. Unfortunately ships do sink, containers go over board, rough seas, poor handling at the ports and through customs can result in badly damaged goods.

At EASY IMEX your goods are fully insured by us meaning if once you receive your goods they are badly damaged you have seven days to make a claim. Importing CAN be a risky business, using our experience and our services Importing with EASY IMEX is simple, and risk free.

Once you have imported $10,000 / £5000 worth of goods with us the membership fee is refunded in full. No matter what level of membership, or what purchase price you paid for your membership, once the value of your imports have reached this amount we will refund the membership fee in full.

For Gold & Silver members we offer regular weekly support sessions online. These support sessions are conducted via SKYPE. This enables Gold & Silver Members to instant message, talk, and hold web conferences with various people within EASY IMEX. Sessions are subject to change schedule though we will provide a minimum of eight hours per week these will be spread over a various hours in the day/night in order to provide all members a convenient time to discuss any points at a time regardless of what time zone your in.

OEM BRANDING

For Gold & Silver members only, if your looking to get something more specific manufactured in China we will find and arrange a reputable factory to produce your goods. Whether you want your goods branding with your logo on, products produced from your sample or generic goods adapted to your requirements we will arrange the production of these goods.

REFUND OF MEMBERSHIP AGAINST FIRST ORDER

For Gold members only we will refund 100% of their membership fee off your first order provided there order meets the minimum order value or is a full container.

PERSONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

SOURCING MATCHES PER MONTH

Each level of membership, Gold, Silver & Bronze we allow a different number of sourcing requests. Sourcing products and gaining all required information is a process that can take hours. For a member who's first order is going to be £500 and bearing in mind that each product has a Minimum order quantity (although we will negotiate this for you as best as we can) there is little point sourcing 50 products for a budget that will only be able to start importing a handful. We all have a mutual aim to trade and from experience we have found that concentrating on a smaller number of products in the earlier stages achieves better results towards getting trading.

MINIMUM ORDER VALUE

For each membership level, Gold Silver and Bronze there is a different MINIMUM ORDER VALUE. The minimum order value is the minimum amount of an order we will accept for your corresponding membership. The Minimum order value is the value of the products only and does not include tax duty and freight. As a Bronze member, your initial order MUST be a MINIMUM of $1000 AUD, however, you should allow another 30-50% of this value to cover tax, duty & freight.

COUNTRIES AND SERVICES SUPPORTED BY EASY IMEX

WHY WE CHARGE FOR MEMBERSHIPS?

We have in the past listed similar auctions to this and many people have been baffeled, some almost offended and can't understand why we charge an upfront fee for our services. If you are one of these people please allow me to explain.

When we purchase products from factories, we add on a 3% - 10% margin on top of the value of the goods our customers have order. This depends on the size, work evolved and nature of the order.

Out of this margin just like any Business we have to pay for our overheads, administration charges from Chinese customs, my employees wages, office rent , tax etc etc.

So when people want to order relatively small quantities of goods, lets say around £500 the most we make a gross profit of just £50 which hardly pays the bills. We don't mind taking on people who want to start with smaller quantities to begin with, but we need to work with people, over time so that their exports and our 3% - 10% actually does pay our bills! (please see our Goal for New Members.)

We have in the past helped many people who have asked for items, unfortunately though there are far to many 'window shoppers' and after wasting hours upon hours sourcing goods, calculating export charges, freight rates, duty & Tax, inland freight from the docks to their door most people either never go ahead with a transaction or want to order very small amounts of stock. In short the ratio of work from our side/money we make does not make it feasible. We do not and can not sell to 'the mass's'. Its not the way our business works. We exist to gain new members and work with everyone of them on a close and personal basis. To do this can take many hours from ourside before it becomes profitable for us. We need to work with Business or individuals who are serious about developing and growing business, otherwise its just not worth it for us.

So other than that why else do we charge for memberships to EASY IMEX? I have spent over three years living in China, travelling to different factories. When I first moved to Shanghai I couldn't even find a post office, yet alone have the ability to contact over 80,000 factories AND then be able to export from anyone of them.

Like most westerners do when they come to China, I tried to do business with Chinese the western way. Thinking the western way is fair, direct and that any Chinese companies who want to do business with me should do business on my terms as this was the correct way to do business! I still see westerners come to China all the time and do exactly the same thing everyday!

I have had to learn how to do business in a very different culture, which has been very stressful to say the least. I have spent thousands of hours learning the language over coming obstacles in order for EASY IMEX to now be able to offer you these services.

So, what has taken me and my employees thousands of hours, a hell of a lot of stress, learning Mandarin and how to do business in China we are offering you the benefit of all of this for a one off fee.

So, if you think we should not be charging for memberships to EASY IMEX, I only have one message for you....

COME TO CHINA AND DO IT YOURSELF!

WHY US?

Although there are plenty of trading, import and export companies in both the UK and China. I can honestly say I have never seen a company, which is set up to operate in the way that we do. By managing the whole process of sourcing in China, exporting, importing into the UK then delivering to our customer’s door.

Originally trying to start trading, whilst I was actually in China, I came across so many obstacles, all these and I was in the country, partly speaking the language and with a translator with me when I needed one. So I knew that if I was having these problems while I was in China, people in the “west” who had never even come to China must be banging there head against a brick wall. Some of the common problems people have when trying to import from China are.

1) You may have to rent a whole container to export.

2) When you don’t know how to approach the factories they are only interested in exporting a whole container of products from their factory.

3) The factory does not even have an export license (which you must have in order to export from China) so you need to find a company in China that does.

4) Many trading companies can be expensive and not trust worthy, trying to get away with every penny they can. How do you know which Chinese company you can trust?

5) You don’t get to see the goods before they are exported, so you don’t know if they are up to standard, correct, have UK plug sockets on for example, packaged correctly, the correct quantities of each product, the colour you wanted and trust me, once they have landed you cant exactly send them back!

6) If you want to import multiple items from different factories from all over China, how are you going to get them grouped together for export? Who is going to prepare the paperwork for a multiple product export? Who is going to arrange road transport in China to get them all to the docks?

7) Who is going to arrange insurance for your goods and get you the best deal? During shipping if goods are not packed properly in the container there can be so much movement that goods get completely destroyed. Did you know it’s not uncommon in high seas for a 40 foot container to get washed overboard!? Do you think anyone in China cares once it’s on the boat!?

8) Once the goods are in the UK you need to arrange them to be taken off the boat, each item you need to find the correct code in order to pay the duty on. You need to be VAT registered. You then need to arrange for the goods to be sent where they need to go.

This is just a basic outline of a few of the obvious problems we know people have when they try and import themselves. Believe me, between all of these “obvious” problems there are a million and one other things that can go wrong, especially if you dealing with Chinese and communication is not easy. So why us? Well we can honestly EASY IMEX offers a solution around all of these problems.

Please note, there is so much rubbish on eBay, people offering you a way to import from China and the Far East. Many of these even claim it is easy to import from China and the Far East! If they already know how to do this, and it’s so easy why are they not doing it themselves? There is a BIG difference between us and them. They are in the business of selling information. Information which I may add will not get you very far! We are in the business of Import & Export.

We are exporting from China on a regular basis and have been for years now so the choice is yours, bid on a list for ten quid which will get you nowhere, this information you can pull of the internet with ease anyway. There are hundreds of trade website full of this stuff people are selling on eBay. Or if your serious about actually making a business of this, why not invest in paying a company for the time and expertise who actually can provide you the services you need, and IS exporting and importing already? How many other people selling Chinese import lists on eBay have ever imported anything in there life!?

OTHER PEOPLE OFFERING THE SAME SERVICES

We would like to take his opportunity to point a couple of things out about people offering the same service’s as us.

We started charging for memberships once we had mastered and ironed out all the problems in exporting goods in this way as we wanted to increase our customer base. Unfortunately, people saw that our services were by themselves generating 1) a customer base, and 2) money. Although we are offering genuine support for our members, there are other people trying to replicate/blagging what we are doing. They come and go (once they have been sussed.)

In the twelve months we have been running this listing there have been people who “claim” they can offer similar services to us. Now if they genuinely can, then we don’t mind, I have always loved competition, but on one condition and that is that it’s fair.
So, why us and not another advert? Well if you want to chuck your money down the drain fine, however if you’re serious in our listing, and other peoples, then please ask yourselves the following.

1) Is the company officially registered, and is it open and willing to prove this?

2) Is the company already actually supplying eBay customers with stock, which it has exported and imported via ship?

3) Are the customers it is supplying making profit?

4) Are they offering wining bidders references that will verify all of the above?

5) Do they have a Chinese export license?
