Or Centazzo�s thoroughly scored Mitteleuropa Orchestra featuring a number of individual voices capable of collective improvisation similar to the ICP Orchestra but within a more definitive yet limber structures- individuality is the common thread above all else.

Resurrected more than twenty years after folding in 1984, �the creative label for creative music,� was and now continues to be truly a reflection of Centazzo himself paying tribute to how he crosses boundaries and expectations. Expanding his kit to encompass bells and cymbals indigenous to other countries or means of _expression created through his association with multiple percussion companies, his sound is the continuum. And although he has consistently evolved from even before Lacy directed him to �play what you feel,� his fascination of sound has never ceased. ICTUS reflects this aesthetic as well. Encouraging musicians to take ownership of every aspect with complete artistic freedom, ICTUS 30th Anniversary Collection brings together some of the brightest moments in free improvisation and jazz from the one of the premiere independent labels.
