This is Ranger when he arrived at Perfect Harmony.
Ranger was surrendered because his owner could no longer

take care of him.

As you can see, he was in very poor condition ...

The dull, depressed, sad look you see in the eyes of a starved,
neglected or abused horse is enough to make you want to cry.
Sometimes, we reach them just in time, sometimes we are too late ...

Perfect Harmony Animal Rescue and Sanctuary has been in operation
since 1994.
In the beginning, P.H.A.R.A.S. was a private rescue, but was
incorporated and received 501 non profit status in 1999.

We primarily focus on older and/or "disabled" equine.
For many of these animals we are their last stop and often
their last hope.


P.H.A.R.A.S. is a small organization which is 100% volunteer run
and we do not receive any kind of state or government funding

Your donation allows us to continue helping animals in need and to
provide a safe haven to old, disabled, unwanted equine to live out
the remainder of their days in peace, well cared for and loved
until the end.

These small items are donated by a very dedicated supporter who

also mails these items. Please allow time for delivery.

us to continue our efforts to provide short term or long term shelter,
food, veterinary and farrier care to horses in need.

To rescue and rehabilitate abandoned, abused, neglected, unwanted animals,

fight pet overpopulation and educate the public of the importance of
spaying and neutering, to educate the public of the plight of
