Huntly Aberdeenshire Pictorial Stoneware Cream Pot, 11cm high and 6.5cm at the widest diameter. Hand thrown stoneware cream pot, with printed underglaze pictorial design of maid milking a cow, enclosed by banners bearing the legends "PURE RICH CREAM FROM THE HUNTLY CREAMERY HUNTLY ABERDEENSHIRE". Set beneath the design, the following text:
"This Cream is preserved with Boron Preservative The quantity used does not exceed 1/2 % Cream without Preservatives is recommended for Children and Invalids"
The quality of the printed design is particularly clear and sharp, and is complemented by the brown dip of glaze given to the lip and shoulder of the pot. Very good condition throughout, with damage limited to some very fine, very small shallow flakes to the inner rim of the neck. A good pictorial cream pot that displays well.
