Hunt and O'Byrne black plated 3/4 jointed snooker cue

 Offering for auction my mint condition Hunt & O'Byrne Black Plated cue ..... serial number B71.

 The foreshaft is the most magnificent section of ash I have ever seen in a cue, absolutely straight grain with evenly spaced and formed chevrons: Looks are not enough to qualify as a H & O'B black plated cue .... it is the feel and sound of the strike that distinguishes the control provided by this instrument - a true classic.

 The hand rubbed linseed oil finish is silk smooth, in part achieved as the grain was filled with finely chipped ebony to both add to the perfect smoothness and to enhance  the grain pattern contrast: even if you have an off day on the tables, one will still look fantastic stroking this unusually handsome cue.

 I acquired this cue in a straight trade for a Parris Ultimate several years ago - and was so pleased with this stick that I swore never to part with it; however, the death of Snooker in my region is near complete. the nearest commercial 12" table is now a full 125Km distant!

 Include is a full length telescoping extension, and a new/unused black Barracuda aluminium case.
