Huge Victorian Mahogany Extending Dining Table ca 1850

This beautiful antique early Victorian mahogany extending dining table has two additional / removable leaves and a pull out mechanism. The top has an unusual moulded edge above a deep frieze and stands on four chunky turned legs with brass cup castors. The piece could comfortably seat twelve people, is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
