A very large victorian windout extending dining table dating from around 1880. Constructed from solid mahogany it extends with two wind out actions to seventeen feet in length, comfortably seating up to twenty diners. With a width of five feet there is more than ample room for serving at dinner parties.  It has six leaves which can be used independently to form a table of varying lengths, extending from six feet to seventeen feet in two foot intervals. That is you can have a six, eight, ten, twelve, fourteen to seventeen foot table depending on the numbers you are entertaining. It stands upon six sturdy turned and fluted legs with porcelain casters for the table to glide upon as being wound inward and outward. In excellent condition, professionally restored with a hand french polished finish. Superb rich colour and patina. Viewings welcomed at our warehouse in Harrogate.

The measurements are;   204 3/4" (5.2 metres) long extended - 59 3/4" (1.52 metres) wide - 29 1/2" (75cm) tall. 24" (61cm )to the lowest part of the frieze. 67" (1.7metres) long wound down. Five leaves approx 24" (61cm) and one 18" (46cm), which can be inserted individually to form a table of varying lengths.
