A magnificant, large hot cast bronze pheasant styled on the works of Alfred Bayre. His work, particularly with birds and horses, continues to be a source of inspiration for many of today's sculptors. Sculpted using the traditional lost wax method and mouted on a thick, solid black and grey veined marble base, this is a wonderful, detailed piece with superb patination.
