Homepride Flour – Fred – three 2½p Off Margarine Coupons, c1972. These are three 4” x 2½” coupons that were cut from bags of Homepride Flour some time in the early 1970s or so. (Probably around 1972-1973.) They offer 2½p off your favourite margarine, the next time you go shopping and are to be presented to the Grocer. One is very slightly grubby and one has a TINY nick in the bottom left corner. Although very familiar, Fred also appears to be very slightly different to how we know him today. (He looks a little more squat to me).
