The real estate classifieds website allows home buyers to browse available properties for free. The property listings are detailed with features, photos, agent/individual information and driving directions linked to MapQuest.

Agents and individuals can also list their properties. After a new seller has registered, they are able to select and buy a package depending on how many offers they would like to to post and for the length of time they would like to post them. Payment can be done via PayPal or 2Checkout and registration is automated. The seller will receive a few emails - 10 days before his account will expire, 5 days, 1 day. 24 hours after his account expiration date, all his listings and his account will be deleted automatically.

The Marketing-

 

To get the kind of sales that are going to earn you some serious money - you've go to have traffic, and lots of it. To get lots of traffic you've got to have marketing, its no secret that any successful business needs to be well advertised to get the clients and this one is no exception.

Google Adwords is the main (although not the only) marketing that I use on my sites, its a pay per click campaign, where you pay a very small amount -10p for example, when a customer clicks your ad.

If he makes a purchase then your well in profit, if he doesn't , your 10p down - but you can bet that in the next 50 or 60 clicks to your site your going to have a buyer and then you are in a healthy profit situation again. You can also limit the number of clicks to your site each day so you can keep tight control over your marketing spending, say £5 per day for example.

If you beat 50 hits a day traffic wise then your generally going to make a sale or two each day, the stats shown are taken for a period at a pretty quiet time of year commercially. You need to focus on "Unique Visitor" figures as these represent new customers coming to your site.

 So as far as the work involved that I mentioned earlier- that's it!

Spend about 30 mins a day checking your marketing campaign, removing Adwords that aren't earning their keep, and thinking of new ones to bring in customers.
