Steeped in history, it is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is excellent for walking, cycling, fishing and bird-watching. It is well placed for visiting Carlisle, South West Scotland and the Northern lake District. Shop 1 mile, pub 100 yards.

Fantastic for dog walking, you can walk for miles along the coast often without ever seeing anyone else. Renown for the bird watching opportunities and if you're lucky, you might even spot the odd dolphin that come into the Firth regularly.
