Leycesteria formosa

Upright shrub. Needs full sun and well drained soil, but will reward you with beautiful, purple maroon flowers with white tips turning to red purple inedible berries, loved by birds. Grows to a height of 72in. (180cm) and a spread of 60in. (150cm).

Hardy perennial.
