High spec Acorn Strong ARM RiscPC with RISC OS 4.39

The motherboard is the latest Series 3 type with 16 bit sound. The processor is an APDL Turbo 287 MHz Strong ARM which is much faster than the original 202 MHz unit and is guaranteed for 1 year. There is 128 MB of main RAM and 2 MB of video RAM (VRAM). The hard drive is 80 GB, and a 'Combo' CD re-writer and DVD drive is fitted. The CD writing software is included. RISC OS 4.39 operating system has been installed and all the appropriate files and applications installed on the hard drive.

An original Acorn keyboard and mouse are included, although these aren't shown in the photos. I will also include an original copy of the Programmers Reference Manual CD.

After the photos were taken a 486 PC card was fitted complete with the necessary PCpro software to enable this to operate.

This is an ideal machine for the Acorn enthusiast who is less than enthusiastic about the cramped and poorly ventilated RiscPC case with it's limited space for additional drives and backup devices. It has been carefully assembled and tested and should give many years of service.
