Published at
irregular intervals during the 1960s, the full-sized High Heels
focused on pretty women showing of their legs in sexy footwear. In 1966, Mr. Burtman merged
Stocking Parade with High Heels magazine. The third
issue in the series, a small offering of about 56 pages, shows pinup
posers in sheer stockings. In their pictorials,
Vicki Sommers, Helene West, Candy Gee, Irene Collins and Carmen Rita
show off footwear with three or four inch heels and mostly RHT
hosiery held in place by garter belts.
The magazine has
articles about the history of corsets and the enjoyment of furs, one
short story by Joseph King, and a few Eric Stanton illustrations.
The ebook contains
every word and picture of the original. Many page layouts have been
revised to obtain larger pictures of the models. The page sequence
has been revised to place the text of prose pieces on succeeding
pages.

for ebook viewing
Each
photo and illustration is placed on a wide ebook page proportioned to
fill the horizontal space framed by Acrobat Reader on monitor
screens. Some of the walls, floors and furniture have been cropped
out of pictures to obtain maximum presentation of the models and
characters. As many of the pictures are small, this technique is
probably the best way to enjoy all the precious details in the
original material. The optimized version of High Heels 3
consists of more than 80 pages
of pinup photos and drawings.

Affair, Book 4
Mr. Stanton was a master of the pencil,
and this work demonstrates his virtuoso skill with clear lines and
shadows that delineate his voluptuous divas in all their fury. The
20-page episode has been given an ebook presentation of 40 pages.
Adjacent and over-lapping tableaux have been dis-assembled and each
placed on its own wide, optimized ebook page. The sometimes pale
lines have been darkened, and each figure is sized to fill the
screen. Filling his pictures with lovely curves, exciting contours,
and beautiful faces, Mr. Stanton shows us what he likes to see.
Book 4 continues the story of
Lorraine, Henry, Dolly, Lily, and Teddy. In this alternative
household, gorgeous women reign.

PROCESS
I scanned each page at 600 dpi and later reduced the
resolution to 155 dpi. I adjusted the tonality of the photos and
corrected specks and blemishes. These ebooks could be considered a
better read than the originals because the presentation and monochrome adjustments
brighten, clarify and enlarge.
The
.pdf files are 35 mb, 19 mb, and 11 mb.
The scans were assembled as a book in a publishing program. Then, the file was exported to Acrobat .pdf format. Acrobat files are opened in Acrobat Reader, available without charge for both PC and MAC platforms at adobe.com. You can run an image viewer or video program at the same time you flip through the pages of an ebook in Acrobat Reader. Reader allows zooming and rotation. If you prefer paper pages to desktop images, Acrobat allows you to print .pdf pages.

of the CD is by mail. I am pleased to combine shipping when multiple
