Payment &Delivery

We accept payment by: Credit or Debit Card, Paypal, Postal Orders, Bank Transfer. All displayed prices include VAT (unless otherwise stated). Prompt Payment is recommended to ensure that delivery of your goods in not delayed. For further information regarding delivery please read the below Shipping & Delivery information.

Climbing Frames UK .com take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. We charge a postage fee that is only to cover our costs of materials and labour. Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment, your item will be dispatched as soon as possible. Please allow extra time if you are paying by cheque or e-cheque.

Playsets, Climbing Frames, Swingsets & playhouses 
We aim to deliver playsets & playhouses within 7 days but to be able to deliver quickly we ask that you provide a home and mobile contact number so our warehouse and drivers can contact you to arrange delivery. Sometimes it may be more appropriate not to take delivery immeditately, this is not a problem because we can deliver up to 14 days after you order date. Our delivery service takes place 8am to 4.30pm on weekdays only and you need to be present to sign for the package. The quoted delivery price applies to most of the UK, although some areas will incur a surcharge (including Central London, Scottish Highlands etc). Prices for non-mainland locations are available upon application.

Accessories
Normally sent with Parcel Force or the Royal Mail (Signed for) Services. You order will normally be dispatched immediately following cleared payment for an order. Accessories ordered together will normally be shipped together, but will come seperately to any accompanying playset order.

Terms & Returns

Climbing Frames Uk .com warrantee and represent that the goods are as described in the above listing. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Customers should satisfy themselves that any item choice made is suitable for their intended purpose or use. We pride ourselves on our customer service. In the rare event that you have a problem with your item please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

Climbing Frames UK .com endeavour to provide the best Customer Service possible. Should anything go wrong, we will make every effort to resolve the issue. However, should the problem be unsolvable, or you prefer to amend or Cancel your Order, please email us. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customers responsibility to pay for and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost.

Cancellations and returns
You must confirm your wish to cancel the Order in writing via email or post within 10 calendar days. Your Order will not be considered Cancelled until notification in writing is received. If you decide to cancel an Order after the Products have been dispatched and commenced their carriage to you by carrier or post, we may charge you for the carriage of those Products. We advise you check the status of the Order before you request Cancellation. Any charges will be communicated to you before we confirm the Cancellation.

Returns
Before you request or arrange the return of a Product, please read the information below carefully. You may return any Delivered Products you have purchased within 14 days of Delivery. To do so you must notify us in writing via email or post. If you are returning a Product for any reason, with the exception of manufacturing defect, you must pay the costs of returning the Products to us. All returned products must be returned in original packaging. All components will be checked. We may require photographic evidence of the satisfactory condition of the item you are returning. This will be at our discretion. Electronic files should be forwarded to us and we will obviously also accept printed media. Upon receipt with us the products you will receive a refund in line with our refund policy (below). We will not accept Returns or Cancellations if the Products have been altered by applying chemicals or paints to the surfaces or by altering or customising the Product in any way that could be deemed as you using or treating the Products as your own, including fully assembling the products. While in your possession, you must keep any Products you intend to return to us in good condition. Products must be returned in the same condition as they were delivered. If products were delivered flat packed they must be returned in the same way including complete disassembly. Care must be taken to ensure the Return Products are packed well to avoid damage or loss of parts in transit. All advertised sizes and measurements are an approximation but Climbing Frames Uk endeavour to make sure that all are as accurate as possible.

Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 30 days. All refunds will be subject to a handling charge and will have the original shipping charge deducted. Where products have been returned directly to us they will be inspected for condition and missing parts and Products Returned which cannot be re-sold as new due to damage or wear and tear may be subject to a reduction in the Refund given. Where exchange rates of currency are involved, the Refund will be made in £GBP at the current exchange rate. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or gain caused by changes in the exchange rate between the time of Ordering and the time of issuing the Refund. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Q. Why do the climbing frames vary so much in price?
A. The price of climbing frames varies largely due to the type and volume of wood used. Our sets are made from a selection of materials including Redwood, Cedar, Pine and Fur. The description page of each set will give information on what type of wood is used in manufacturing. The more expensive sets use larger dimension wood and have higher deck heights.

Q. My last swing set was european pine and cracked really badly, will yours do the same?
A. No, our Climbing Frame sets are made from Cedar and Fur, this means they are much softer to touch and do not splinter and crack like European pine. Our swingsets are made from high quality northern europe pine which i slower growing and less prone to cracking.

Q. Does everything come that is pictured?
A. Yes, our sets include both the wood and hardware needed to make your playset. We design and manufacture our sets with home build in mind. We supply all required wood, hardware components and accessories needed, and include a picture based instruction manual in all sets.

Q. How do i get the play set to my house?
A. Even though our play sets boxes are often 2.4m long and have a combined weight in excess of 100kg, We offer a fantastic home delivery service.

Q. I see you do accessories - Can i swap swings and accessories?
A. No, the climbing frames and swingsets we sell are pre-boxed. They come exactly as you see them in the pictures. If you wish to have a baby seat, captain's wheel or other accessory then these can be added to your order.

Q. Does the playset need concreting in?
A. No, because our playsets are made from high quality wood the weight of the structure olds it down. They come with ground pegs to stop flex or movement in the swing beam unde heavy usage.

Q. Do i need to lay a safety surface?
A. Some people wish to add a safety surface (such as play bark, rubber bark or mats) but most stand their set directly onto grass.

Q. Do i need planning permission?
A. No, all of our boxed wooden playsets are under the height required for planning permission.

Q. How long will my playset take to build?
A. It varies. Our smallest sets can easliy be built in a day, and often in 4-5 hours, but some of the bigger sets can take a weekend to build. The key is organisation - get prepared before you start!
