How it works:
Wall-mounted transmitter : the transmitter is the central control to the whole system. It sends a coded radio signal around the continuous wire loop from one terminal of the transmitter ,through the wire , and back to another terminal. It will do :
1 Field Width Adjustment ? the signal field is the distance from the wire to the place where the collar receiver first activates. The Field Width Knob adjusts the size of the signal field.
2 Internal Lighting or Surge Protection ? protects the transmitter from power surges or lightning strike near the boundary wire.
3 Loop Wire Terminal ? connection for the containment loop wire.
4 Power supply ?there are 110V power for USA and 220-240V power for Europe available.
5 Yard Size Jumper ? For system installation, using 600 meters or more of wire. There is 300 meters wire in the package
6 To verify the transmitter is functioning properly, please look at OK and POWER lights on the transmitter. When both of them turn green, it means the transmitter is receiving power, both wire are connected well , and the wire forms a unbroken, continuous loop.
The receiver on collar:
The receiver will administer a warning tone firstly and then continuous stimulation if your dog attempts to approach the wire. Please note ( it is correction for manual): after installing battery, the receiver light won't be green. Please follow the step 9 on page 7, it will make warning tone firstly and then shock later. At the same time, the light will be green.
How to install the system:
1. design your containment area and calculate the amount of wire needed
2. install the wall transmitter
3. lay out the perimeter wire
4. connect the perimeter wire to the wall transmitter
5. Verify transmitter is functioning properly
6. Set up the receiver and then, test the containment system and adjust the field width
7. install the boundary wire and training flags
8. fit the collar to your dog and train your dog
