Hester Bateman Sterling Silver Dessert Spoons

Made at her workshop in Bunhill Row, London 1781.

A Very Good Pair of Georgian Sterling Silver Dessert Spoons.  Made in London, in 1781, by Hester Bateman.  Two Charming Old English Pattern Dessert Spoons.  Both engraved to the terminal with the initial M.          

Condition:

The Marks:  Worn.  Makers mark visible on one only 

The Spoons:  Very Good.  No splits, dents or repairs.

  • Lion passant 
  • Date letter f
  • Leopards head

Length:          Six and a half inches     16.4cm

Collective Weight:   1.695ounces      48.0grams
