Hester Bateman Georgian Sterling Silver Dessert Spoon Made at the workshop in Bunhill Row, London c1780. A Georgian Sterling Silver Dessert Spoon. Made in London, c1780, by Hester Bateman. An Old English Pattern Dessert Spoon with a beaded stem. Rubbed engraving to the terminal. This is an early Hester Bateman spoon, bottom marked and bright cut. Spoon could be described as a little tired but still clearly hers and RARE as bottom marked. Condition: The Marks: Very rubbed. The Spoon: Fair. Wear and dents to the bowl. Hallmarks:
