Description: A half hardy annual which can be grown in pots. Easy to grow, one of the classic 'fines herbes'. A delicate refined flavour, also called Gourmet Parsley. A sweet flavour with a touch of aniseed. Particularly delicious in egg dishes and makes an excellent herb butter for fish, potatoes or asparagus.Height 30cm max

Time of sowing: indoors all year or outdoors March-July.

Harvest: All year

Sowing: outdoors - thinly sow 1/4" deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Germination 14-21 days. Thin to 8" and water well until established. For continuous supply sow every 2-3 weeks.

indoors - spw 1/4" deep in small pots of compost and keep 15-20degrees. Can be grown on light windowsill.

Care: pick leaves as required (outdoors from May ). pick a few leaves from each plant so that they regrow quickly. They can be dried/frozen but for best flavour use fresh.

Site: well drained and half sun/shade.
