Georgian Sterling Silver Sugar Basket Made at Amen Corner in London, by Henry Chawner, in 1792. A Very Good Georgian Sterling Silver Sugar Basket. Made by in London, in 1792, by Henry Chawner. A Charming Swing Handle Sugar Basket. With reeded and pin prick engraved borders. The bowl pierced. A blank cartouche to the front. Blue glass liner. This good basket of classic design and form, with a great balance of decorated fretwork and plain silver area. Handle stands up. This is a pleasing piece of silver in very good condition by a well known and respected master Georgian silversmith. Henry Chawner only son of Richard came from silversmith Chawner dynasty that lasted for many generations.
