Pennine Helicopters Ltd of Saddleworth, Greater Manchester, established in 1991, are well known for helicopter rides and operate a Bell 206 LongRanger Helicopter. The Company is approved by the CAA to carry out public transport work and the Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) number us 1391/3.

The "Dambusters Run" is the perfect gift for a fan of military history or those who appreciate a heroic and audacious feat.

You will retrace the route of the famous 617 Squadron's training run as they practised their low-level flying, to perfect their 'dambusting' technique over the twin towers, as they prepared for their daring mission to destroy the Mohne and Eder dams in Germany's Ruhr Valley during World War II.

Enjoy a flight of approximately 30 minutes / 45 mile, reaching a height of 1500 feet, to obtain an unrivalled view of some of the Peak District's most breathtaking scenery, before proceeding alongside the Ladybower, Derwent and Howden dams themselves.

Terms and Conditions of Voucher:

1. All tickets need to be booked in for a flight date scheduled to take place within 12 MONTHS of the start date shown on the ticket.
2. If your flight date is cancelled due to the weather / unforeseen circumstances outside our control, please contact our office to re-schedule. The validity of the ticket is extended for a further 12 months following the cancelled flight date, but will become void if not booked in for another flight date scheduled to take place before this additional 12 month period elapses.  Refunds are not made due to cancellations.
3. Unless otherwise specified each ticket entitles one person (of maximum weight 18 stone) to a flight from one of our operational venues, either of the length specified or as a credit towards a longer flight. This ticket is transferable.
4. A passenger cancelling a seat within 72 hours of the flight, not turning up for a flight or arriving late, will invalidate the ticket, as seats cannot be re-allocated at this late stage.
5. Following cancellation by the customer a refund less a 25% may be issued, at the descretion of the company on receipt of the unused ticket.
6. All flights are weather dependent. To save yourself an unnecessary journey PLEASE TELEPHONE OUR CHECKLINE (01457 820152) AFTER 9.30AM ON THE DAY OF THE FLIGHT, to listen to a recorded message stating whether the flights are able to take place. PLEASE DO NOT RING THE PUB / VENUE
7. PLEASE ARRIVE A MINIMUM OF 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE FLIGHT TIME to check in at the mobile booking office, when you will be asked your weight and postcode.

9. All flights taken are subject to our Terms and Conditions of Business. Copy available upon request. Also subject to, as appropriate, EU Council Regulations 889 / 2002, which details our insurance liability.
