Heathway 3" Bore refurbished glass working lathe

We have for sale a newly restored/rennovated Heathway 3" Bore Bench Glassworking Lathe complete with 2 x Scroll Chucks.  The work has just been completed on our instruction by professional UK lathe engineers to a very high standard.  Everything now works effortlessly on the lathe and we hope we can find a new home for it within the Glassworking industry so that it can give many more years of faithful service.

• The New control box and motor speed regulator control forward and reverse, start and stop, Emergancy stop, on/off.
• 240V Single Phase 50Hz.  Wiring Diagram and motor controller instruction manual included.

The lathe has been stripped back, repainted and totally dissassembled, bearings have been checked/cleaned and replaced where necessary.  Both chucks have been removed and rebored to give improved alignment.  It has been totally rewired with modern safe isolated electrics. Drive belt renewed. The speed range is now from approx 10 rpm upto approx 250rpm and is highly controlable/sensitive.  The original rear tooling bar, carbons and mounts are included along with gas feedthrough.

All the new electronic items on the lathe come with 12 months warranty.  The main lathe itself comes with 6 months warranty.

Export packing can be quoted for separately.  The lathe weighs around 100Kg and we can deliver within the UK for an agreed price depending on the distance involved.
