Our Jungle Hammocks have a space for a sleep mat. We've been asked if we supply them so we came up with an aluminium-covered version for maximum heat reflection.

About this sleep mat

When it's warm you don't need a sleep mat in the bottom of your hammock at night. When it's cold, the cold air circulating around the parts of you that press down on the bottom of the hammock - usually your rear end, can suffer.

There is no real need for a sleep mat in a hammock to be thick; you will have provided for comfort with a sleeping bag. What we have to offer is versatility because this mat is 1.3m wide when laid out fully. Fold it in half to use it in the hammock and you can also use it on the ground full size.

The 1.9m length is such that when you put it in your hammock there isn't too much crumple at the ends where the hammock tapers down to a point at each end.
