This sale is for a head sculpting kit as pictured, this kit represents a saving on buying the items separately, and includes:

Mannequin Heads are boxed and brand new. They are hollow and made from a fairly high impact resistant plastic, they are painted as pictured. They have a nice square base which makes them really stable when you cover them in clay – cheaper polystyrene heads will become top heavy as you build up your sculpt. Please tell us if you would like either male, or which style of female pictured.

WED Clay is popular in the movie and effects industry for creating large detailed sculptures. WED clay is a part water based clay, but dries more slowly and has some qualities similar to oil based clay. WED clay can be kept moist for months if the sculpture is kept in a plastic bag, or under a wet towel, although WED clay is not considered reusable like pure oil based clays.

Sculpting tools are provided as a set of six tools, each is 8” / 20cm long and has a different shaped loop at each end for clay sculpting.

What’s next?

After you have made the clay sculpt and you are happy with your finished piece, you will probably want to make it into a more permanent material. We also have stock of Liquid Latex and Plaster Bandages for mould making, and Jesmonite for casting or laminating rigid pieces.
