  High performance analogue and DVB-T digital TV receiver/recorder 

I am selling my TV/Video Card for my PC.  This card is fully functional, comes in the original box with all the bits that came with it:  This card was designed for XP however there are now drivers available for Vista which you can download from Hauppauge support pages online. http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/vista.html

Included in the Box

  • WinTV-HVR-1300 PCI Card with multi-standard PAL TV and DVB-T receivers.
  • Hardware MPEG encoder for analogue TV.
  • FM radio receiver and aerial.
  • S-Video, Composite Video and Stereo Audio Inputs.
  • Microsoft certified Media Centre remote control.
  • IR Receiver and Transmitter to control external cable or satellite equipment.
  • Software Installation CD.

With a Media Centre PC and the WinTV-hvr-1300 MCE Kit you can:

  • Watch TV with the MyTV button in Media Centre
  • Use Media Centre's TV Scheduler to record your favourite TV shows.
  • Watch Freeview digital TV  programmes from the internal DVB-T receiver.
  • Record Analogue or Digital TV programmes to disk using MPEG-2 compression.
  • Listen to DVB-T Radio or FM Analogue Radio
  • Use the included Media Centre remote to control all media functions, such as slide shows, music playlists etc.

System Requirements
  • Microsoft Windows XP (Media Centre Edition to use the Media Centre features of this product).
  • DirectDraw compatible AGP or PCI Express graphics card.
  • A free PCI slot.
  • Sound card or on-board sound
  • CD-ROM drive (to install software).

Please note: There are two very minor niggles with this product, but neither of them affect its functionality or looks in any way.  Firstly, the catch for the batteries at the back of the remote no longer springs open, however, a little blu tack has worked for the last Year and cannot be seen or detected.  Secondly, the IR blaster (a tiny bulb in a tiny case) has lost its tiny casing, however it still works perfectly and this part of the kit is supposed to be hidden and unless you are changing channels with your media centre, you wont need it.  Neither of these issues afect the look or functionality of the kit.
