Offered for auction is this beautiful Spitfire MkVb in 1:48 scale.

The kit contains the addition of True Details resin cockpit set TD48484 + Eduard etched set 48-103 that adds numerous fine details to the build.

Condition is described as 'Used' only insofar as the original kit decals are no longer usable (no alternative decals are provided in this sale). The kit is otherwise complete, undamaged and unassembled.

**UK Purchasers please note** My default postal method is First Class Post within the UK (First Class is the default whenever an item exceeds the maximum weight for Second Class of 1Kg). You are of course welcome to specify if you require alternative post arrangements after you have lodged the winning bid (Second Class, Special Delivery etc) and / or insurance or additional insurance (and if so, how much) and I will invoice accordingly. The default UK post options do not include an item tracking facility so if this is a necessary feature it is **essential** you communicate this clearly, in writing before the invoice is generated please.

I have always sought to keep purchaser post costs as low as possible and to that end I prefer to have your win weighed prior to issuing an invoice. I will **always** only invoice the actual postage sum - so bid with confidence (this way you only pay what it costs me to send you the item).

I add to the actual postage cost £2 per item for wrappings. Multiple wins attract £2 for the first item, £1 for all subsequent items. This method ensures that you have absolute clarity of P & P cost. My packing method gives what I believe is the highest level of protection set against overall weight and means your postie can deliver in the pouring rain while your kit stays dry within.   

The packing fee is reduced to £1 per item for decals, etched and resin sets.

Preferred payment is via Paypal. If a cheque is offered the item will be retained until the cheque is successfully confirmed cleared through the seller's account.

Finally, I am not a business but a private seller. I always invoice and post in the quickest possible time, depending of course on my personal circumstances prevailing at the time. The nature of my work sometimes introduces delays due to the fact that many of the people I look after are extremely vulnerable. I therefore thank you for your understanding. As a rough guide an invoice can take between 3-5 working days to generate after closure of the auction. Please DO NOT send any payments ahead of my invoice. If however, P & P is sent to me by the purchaser *before* the invoice is generated I will dispatch the item (assuming the P & P covers it etc) at the next opportunity.

A brief word about feedback: This is supposed to apply to the seller insofar as their behaviours and communications are concerned up to the point of despatch - feedback is **not** supposed to be an opportunity to comment on the postal services (i.e. how quick or slow they were, whether they took care of the item or not), which have no relevance to the seller who, in turn, clearly has no influence over.
