This auction is for a brand new kit still sealed in it's plastic bag.

The Hasegawa model kit is a fine example of the Panther Ausf G with nice attention to detail included. It's a straightforward kit to build which goes together very well and has a nice solid feel to it once it's completed. The mouldings are clean and crisp and the tracks fit very well (rare in 1/72 kits). Having built the Airfix and Matchbox Panther kits they are a poor imitation of the Hasegawa kit.

First introduced in 1943 during Operation Citadel on the Eastern Front, the Panther's introduction to combat was less than glorious. Following some remodelling it reappeared forming a large chunk of the combat tanks within the Panzer Divisions (along with the smaller Pz Kwf IV). The Panther was the German response to the superb Russian T-34 with sloping frontal armour and a more powerful gun.

Whether for wargamming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty. Not to be missed.
