"Turdus Felidae"

Model #TTJBR (Released June 1999)

"Turdus Felidae" is from Harmony's Kingdom's highly collectable Treasure Jest Collection.

These famous boxes are cast from master moulds, using a mixture of marble dust and resin. They are then stained, polished and finally hand painted.

Designed by the inimitable Peter Calvesbert, this piece features a robin - who's caught a mouse in its wings - sitting atop a cat who's also has caught a mouse. This piece is the companion piece to "Caw of the Wild" and honours HK collectors Rob and Jay. On the lid you can find Rob & Jay's email so that you can respond to their question "Got any rumours?"

This is version 1 of the piece, and the interior contains “To Jay” (the Infinity Version contains two robin eggs and a ball of yarn).

It's just under 3.5"/8.5cm high (with the lid on) and around 2.25"/5.7cm wide and deep.

It still has its original label on the base and is fully stamped and marked.* It's ex display and no longer has its original box, but will be very well packed for its journey.

These pieces are very fragile, and this model's in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or restoration work.

The popularity of these mini "masterpieces" continues to soar - as do the prices! This piece is sure to appeal to Harmony Kingdom collectors and cat fans in general.

*Hallmarks include ©, the HBC treble clef logo, 1 (the edition number) and PC (for Peter Calvesbert).

Insurance: My postage costs include insurance for loss/damage up to the value of £36.00 (thirty six pounds sterling/GBP) at no extra charge to the buyer. I'm happy to give insurance quotes for items in excess of that value.

Return policy

In the unlikely event that you're not happy with your purchase then it should be returned me in its original packaging. I would also recommend it is insured or that Proof of Posting is retained dependent on its value. On safe receipt, a refund for the cost of the item (less the postage) will be issued. Items should be returned within seven days of receipt (but this deadline can be extended for overseas buyers).
